In the Multimedia Art Museum ( MMAM ) Ostozhenka opened the annual Photo Biennale , three photographers and three exhibitions : Lee Friedlander , Martin Parr and Miroslav Pacific .

Martin Parr - a series of photographs " The last refuge ," the work of Czech photographer and artist Miroslav Pacific (1926-2011) are shown for the first time in Moscow .

Lee Friedlander (Lee Friedlander, p . In 1934 ) was an American photographer who takes everyday life, from the 1950s working with various business publications and his work called "the American social landscape ."

The " America. Looking out of the car "( 200 images) was created between 1992 and 2009 while traveling in cars taken on hire. These pictures are made, usually with the driver's seat and side mirrors , mirrors , windscreens and side windows , the author uses as a framework .

In this cycle, Friedlander refers to images that reflect the very essence of American Culture - for cars and highways, fleeing through the 50 states of the vast country.

Creation of Czech photographer Miroslav Pacific was recently dug through his friend and curator of this exhibition by Roman Buxbaum.
Biography Miroslava Pacific is very interesting:

Quiet Miroslav was born in 1926 in a small Moravian village and still a child began to draw. In 1946 he was enrolled in the course of painting at the Prague Academy of Fine Arts, where he quickly became one of the most successful painters. However, after 2 years in Czechoslovakia suffered political upheaval, and in the academy began the persecution of professors and students for non-communist views. Silent no longer attend classes, was expelled and sent to military service in Slovakia. Upon returning from military service Pacific continued to paint and became one of the "Five of the Brno" (along with V.Vasichekom, B.Matalem, and R.Fremundom I.Vatsulkovoy). These five artists have dared to oppose the official doctrine of socialist realism in favor of modernist and expressionist ideals.

By the mid-1950s, the constant pressure mode to the cultural life and is too close attention to the officials of the culture (and police) to work the Pacific led to a serious mental disorder, persecution complex and creative impotence. With this camera he stole pictures of women - quickly, quietly and with a sufficiently large distance. The study of women's nature was the main and only motive of his work.

Quiet own framed photo. From paper bags, newspapers, book pages, drawings and cardboard he was doing a substrate suitable color to the pictures. Then the artist pasted a picture or cut out the frame. For photos no signatures, no one knows when and how he was shooting. Substrates made independently for each picture, and painted the same myself.

British photographer Martin Parr and his series "The last refuge. Photos of New Brighton."

Series filmed in 1983-86 by Mr. Coast of New Brighton, near Liverpool.
Of special techniques used by Parr - flash in any light and the brightness of the colors exaggerated.
