A. Zadorin - Jazz
Painter, sculptor, ceramist, Honored Artist of Russia (1998). Born in the evacuation in 1941 in Kemerovo. Graduate School of the Art Institute in im.Iogansona Repin. In 1969 he graduated from LVHPU im.Muhinoy, studied at the Department of Ceramics and Glass at the prof. V.S.Vasilkovskogo and prof. V.F.Markova. Member of the Union of Artists in 1973. A member of the famous St. Petersburg group of ceramists - "One song," from 1977 to 1986. Member of the Association "St. Petersburg Academy of Contemporary Art" (SAVE). He was awarded the diploma of the Russian Academy of Fine Arts (1998). Participant of numerous Russian exhibitions since 1964. Participated in many international art programs, exhibitions, symposiums and contests. He died after a long illness in October 2006.
Alexander Zadorin received a classical art education: graduate of the Leningrad SKHSH im.B. Johanson, successfully completed the Department of Ceramics and Glass SPGHPA them. B. Stieglitz (former Mukhina Academy). As a student he participated in exhibitions together with their teachers Egoshin G., Z. Arshakuni, V. Vateninym. The group annually for 10 years, staged a demonstration, the principal of the year. Artists sought to prove a right to a new plastic language, peculiar only to ceramics. In these years A.Zadorina appears a number of large monumental works, such as: "Letar", "Horseman," "Self-Portrait," "Man and Horse," "Sitting," "Holiday," "Family", etc. These works tending to the sculpture, but based on ceramic technology methods of language: pottery forms, forms the reservoir, including the composition of the elements of wood, chairs, doors, etc., brought Zadorin known not only in Russia but also in other countries. The work of Alexander Zadorin was rated peers, and in 1997 he received the diploma of the Russian Academy of Arts, and in 1998 he was awarded the title "Honored Artist of Russia." Zinshtein Aaron was born in 1947 in Nizhny Tagil. Since childhood, the future artist studied drawing at the local House of Culture, then entered the famous art school of Nizhny Tagil. Not wanting to rest on our laurels, Zinshtein moved to Leningrad and entered the Higher Industrial Art School named after Mukhina. After graduating from college Zinshtein working in the studio of monumental and decorative art at the "Glavleningradstroe", which draws up the interiors of public buildings and institutions. Zinshtein already making sketches on which later will be created many of his works.
Aaron Zinshtein known not only as a talented painter, but also as a graph: in addition to hundreds of etchings and linocuts, artist designed many publications: books by Shakespeare, Dostoevsky, and Bulat Okudzhava were published with his illustrations. Zinshtein gouache, but as paintings, often reminiscent of children's drawings that the artist, by the way, collect, barter in small geniuses. They quite naturally look on the walls of his studio.
Zinshtein works in a pronounced expressive manner. In his works there is always movement, vitality, irony. His joyful mood expressionism Zinshtein different from American or German Expressionism. The artist writes with almost no life. He makes numerous sketches, assembles them into albums, and only then, in the workshop recreates them in color on canvas or paper. Zinshtein takes the most diverse and most simple plots, which prompts him to life itself. These are the people hurrying through the streets of the city, riding the subway. In the works of the 1980s felt passion for the city and sports festivals and circuses: parades, fireworks, football. The artist notices a lot of people have specific postures and movements, and yet comprehends the crowd as a single plastic unit.
Aaron Zinshtein always stayed away from all the possible "left" and "right" movement in art. It was not adopted any official Soviet art, or in a medium non-conformist artists. In art, he appreciates the spontaneity and freedom. "I'm a naive artist, I can picture everything," says Zinshtein.
