Paul Cezanne was born on January 19, 1839 in France, in Aix-en-Provence, a wealthy bourgeois family. He studied at the College Bourbon, where he met Emile Zola, the future famous writer. Then Paul went to the University of Aix, but left it to devote himself to painting. Cézanne studied at the School of Fine Arts in Aix-en-Provence, and then visited Paris, where he became acquainted with impressionist painter Camille Pissarro, Renoir, Monet and Sisley. Came the second period in the work of Cezanne - impressionistic. Participated in several exhibitions of Impressionist Cézanne was unsuccessful, and Cezanne began to find their own style of painting. Paul Cezanne died October 22, 1906 in his hometown of Aix-en-Provence, after a long illness.
