Brodaty Lev (1889, Warsaw - 1954 , Moscow). Artist . The graph. A painter . He studied in Vienna in studio D. Cohn ( 1905) , a school of drawing and painting ( 1906-1909 ) and the Academy of Fine Arts ( 1909). In the 1910s drew to log in Vienna, Berlin , Krakow, Warsaw. 1916-1930 lived in Leningrad, then - in Moscow. Exhibitions since 1930. He worked in the easel chart , created posters for " Window GROWTH " (1919-1921) , drawings for satirical journals , illustrated books . Since 1918 employee of the newspaper "Pravda" in 1932 - the magazine "Crocodile" .. He taught in the Higher Art in Leningrad ( 1928-1930) . Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1945)
