He was born at the station Mangou in Northern Manchuria in China in 1928.
In 1951 he graduated from the Saratov Art School and in 1953 worked in the artistic and production workshops Saratov Association "Artist" .
From 1953 to 1957 the artist lived in the city of Saransk, Mordovia and worked in the publishing company , and in 1958 moved to Saratov.
From 1960 to 1978 he taught at Lavrinenko Saratov Art School and led the studio amateur artists in the Regional House of Folk Art .
In 2001, Ruslan L. Lavrinenko awarded Honored Artist of Russia .
Ruslan L. active participant in the group , regional, zonal , national and international exhibitions. His works are in museum Radischevskaya , Engels museum , Volsky Art Gallery, Art Gallery of Mordovia , in art galleries and private collections in Israel, Japan , China, Sweden , Germany, USA, Yugoslavia and Ukraine.
