According to her, for more than a half century of existence, "Gay pictures" have accumulated many worthy exhibits for a museum center. A unique collection of drawings of famous illustrators - the authors of the magazine since 1956, with more than five thousand pages. A collection of children's drawings were about two thousand works of young artists from four to 14 years. And it is no less interesting, because it is a kind of retrospective of a century of Russian history through the eyes of children.

"Our young readers to send the editors not only their work, but children's creativity and their parents or grandparents. Thus, we have got the drawings from 1898 - it's mostly illustrations for children's Bible. But the drawings of children of the last century can see Stalin and congresses, and Pioneer Holidays "- explained Antipenko.

Exhibition of children's work in the past year took place in Germany, and creativity of eminent authors, among them Victor Chizhikov - creator of the image of the Olympic Bear, Ivan Semyonov - the first editor of the magazine and "father" of the main character of his Pencil, shown at the Tretyakov Gallery.

"The legacy of the magazine - it's more than five thousand original graphic works of original artwork, full of world-class artists, which entered the golden fund of Russian art. This is the foundation that must be investigated, documented, muzefitsirovana. And the only way this heritage will be preserved," - said Deputy General Director of the Tretyakov Gallery, Andrei Vorobiev.

"Fun" experienced different times. At the very best of their monthly circulation reached 9.500 thousand copies, second only to the newspaper "Pravda". In the 1990s, it was not easy to survive, the number of bands declined, leaving the authors and artists. Now log out of 56 bands - it's too much for children's publications, receives grants from Rospechat, supported by the Moscow government and is still a lot of letters from kids and parents at the same time experiencing enormous difficulties with distribution.

"Syndication - is decaying form, and retailers are reluctant to take children's magazines, because it is unprofitable to sell them" - explained Antipenko.

She noted that the price of the magazine publishing - 49 rubles and 50 kopecks, and at the kiosks, he sold for 135 rubles.

"So we are exploring new forms of distribution. On the anniversary have made a new gaming site, produced a large book, which should come in all Moscow schools. There is an idea to organize a festival in support of reading children's magazines, I hope it will be realized before the end of the year", - told Glavred magazine.

According to her, next year, once in two months will be released reprints of rare volumes, "Happy pictures." Each volume will bring together the most interesting issues for two years.

"This is a project for several years and will be distributed by subscription" - explained Antipenko.

In publishing house "Fun" and other magazines out: the nature of "Phil" Travel "Sinbad," the sport "Springboard", the art of "Sketch", a magazine for teenagers, "Pampas", books, albums, coloring.
