The President noted that to participate in solving these problems should not the federal center and regional and local authorities.

Medvedev said that the problem - "it's not a question of the Church."

"Let the authorities are looking for money" - he said.

The story of the local history museum Vyazma - not only in a series of cases of mutual misunderstanding museum staff and representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church. Law establishes a list of grounds for refusal of transfer of the property. In particular, it provides for the transfer of property for religious purposes relating to museum objects and collections belonging to the Museum Fund of the Russian Federation, or documents forming part of the Archive Fund of the Russian Federation or the National Library Foundation.
