She studied at the Higher Art School in Moscow (1919 - 25) for AA Osmerkin , thesis - Threshing (leader Ilya Mashkov ). She lived in Leningrad. She was a member of society "Fire- color " (1926 - 29). Participant in exhibitions since 1926. In my youth it was called the "Russian Marlene Dietrich ." Worked as an artist in Moscow Art Theater . Author of works on historical and military , industrial and genre subjects, as well as landscapes, portraits (including Vladimir Mayakovsky, Mikhail Bulgakov , actors MAT ) and still-lifes. Author monumental panels , from 1971 worked as a ceramist. Know the location of only one of Kolesova II , located in the Chelyabinsk Museum ( see illustration).
