This Sunday, residents of Moscow have a unique opportunity to communicate with the living legend of Russian art from the late 20th century - the artist Victor Umnova. Victor works occupy a worthy place in the largest gatherings - in addition to the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow and the Russian Museum in St. Petersburg, it is also more than two dozen museums across Russia, and abroad.

Victor - a real philosopher of art, and he managed not only to formulate a series of original thoughts about God, Women, Eternity, about humanity in general, but also give them a distinctive plastic image.

At the moment, the gallery is A3 solo exhibition of Victor Umnova which is unusual in that it is built on the contrast between the early paintings and objects in recent years in which most fully represented the author's world view.

Victor works incredibly interesting, but complex and often require explanation. This Sunday we have a chance to lift the veil of secrecy over its work and understand what the meaning invested in them the author, what topics he would discuss with the audience and why he came to precisely this way of presenting their ideas.
