Dear forum members, help identify the author's signature.

At least tell me to what school is the author?

There was this little-known French sculptor Edward Pepen (Edouard Pépin or Edouard-Félicien-Alexis Pépin, 1853 -?).
He was engaged in painting, in a network referred to his paintings.

And why do you not show the whole picture?
This could increase the reliability of a possible attribution.

I accidentally deleted it from the camera.
