Sketches made oil paintings, architectural drawings, illustrations, old maps, catalogs, 50-ies - the thousands of works, packed in 400 cardboard boxes and marked seal monarchical Egypt. Apparently, these boxes were kept in the secret dungeon since the 50's and hardly extracted into the light since the revolution in Egypt in 1952 ..

The project is the creation of the Museum of Egyptian Civilization on the island of Gezira in the heart of the Egyptian capital came in 1936. He was to become one of the greatest treasures of Islamic art and Arab art in the Middle East and stand in a row with the Egyptian museum of ancient Egyptian artifacts, and the Louvre. Its grand opening was held on August 25, 1957 at Gamal Abdel Nasser.
