One of the main objectives of the project "World V.E.Borisova-Musatov. XXI Century", which since 2005 is in the museum-estate V.E.Borisova-Musatov (branch Radischevskaya museum) is a solution to bringing the creative heritage of the artist. However, it is deeply divided and can not be collected in one place. This new technology in the XXI century authors of the project have a major mission for the full disclosure of the artist and his presentation of the broad international community.

Google - of course, the best search engine of our time. This is indicated by many facts. And with that statement is no longer necessary to argue, but to simply accept. Here we are, members of the museum-estate and Saratov State NIT SSU, author of "The World V.E.Borisova-Musatov. XXI Century", in January 2008, finally was convinced of this.
Internet and asking once again find our hero - V.E.Borisovu-Musatov, we came across the Google search engine on the ability to search for books and immediately tried to use it.
But first need some comment.
For several years on the Internet there are so-called system of WorldCat, which is directly linked to the search engine Google.
WorldCat is the world's largest network of library materials and services.
WorldCat allows you to:
- To search for various libraries in the world, and find the nearest to you.
- To search not only books but also music and video.
- To search for research articles and digital items (eg, audiobooks), you would like to find.
Search is performed on electronic catalogs 10 000 of the largest libraries around the world and gives a certain slice of their resources. There are lots of other services and opportunities offered by this system, but today we do not dwell on them here. More recently, this system has developed into a system of "Google. Book Search" and how we ourselves have seen, quite successfully develops and works. We want to share the results which we obtained using this system.
So, typing in the Russian transcription of the name of Borisov-Musatov, a search engine as a result gave us a link to 551 different books and publications on our hero. Search by name Borisov-Musatov in English transcription, issued 237 options!
And in fact, and in another case, they were albums, catalogs, collections of articles, books and monographs about the artist, as well as those of certain publications that mention his name. Moreover, a search engine gave data from well-known in Russia editions of books on the Borisov-Musatov, to obscure. Time slice of publications from 1910 and 2007. Almost all of them published in Russia, but ..., and we are especially surprised and delighted, which are stored in different libraries of foreign countries and they have a digital copy!

The leader of this list of countries are the United States of America. Dozens of libraries from a variety of states keep the legacy of our artist.
Of course, the information received has inspired us to follow a closer examination of the entire array of data, so they began to identify many of the publications which, for various reasons were not known to us or simply passed him by, but in which there is a very curious facts, memories, certain comments on V.E.Borisove-Musatov and its surroundings.
But before proceeding to an analysis of our results, we make a small digression.
