From 26 to 30 November at the Central House of Artists on the Crimean shaft passed IV Antiquarian Book Fair - a unique exhibition project, designed to draw attention to the development of antiquarian book collecting and preservation of cultural heritage. Exhibitors included 17 major galleries that provided interesting displays of old editions. Among the most interesting exhibits at the antique book fair should be called first and only edition (1806) work of the great Russian general AV Suvorov's The Science of Victory (1796). November 28, the press center of the CHA held a round table, attended by collectors and art dealers. The day before the end of the fair in CHA held the second annual book auction of "Rare and valuable books and manuscripts XVIII-XX centuries", which included an 55 carefully selected lots. According to organizers, nearly all sold away from the original edition of the declared value. The most expensive of the lots were sold to "ABC" LN Tolstoy (550 000 rubles) and Poltava (1829) AS Pushkin (500 000 rubles).
