Prime Minister of Russia Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory telegram to the vice-president of the Academy of Arts of Russia, national artist of Russia and Azerbaijan Tahir Salakhova.

  A telegram was sent to the artist on the occasion of his 80 th anniversary.

  The telegram reads: "Your intense, marked by bright career accomplishments - an example of devoted service to her beloved.

During the years of professional work you have emerged as a gifted and original artist, worthy of the best traditions of national fine art, as a talented teacher and mentor. I sincerely wish you good health and all the best.

People's Artist Tahir Salakhov expressed deep gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for granting him the highest award of Azerbaijan - the Order of "Heydar Aliyev", and thanked them for widespread celebration in Azerbaijan, his 80-year anniversary in accordance with a ruling head of state.

President Ilham Aliyev has once again highlighted the high quality cultural Tahir Salakhova, for his contributions to the motherland and the people, congratulated the master of a brush with the anniversary and high reward, and wished him health and long life.

I join wholeheartedly in the congratulations. In my student years (1976-1981) Creativity Taira Salakhova just played a great role
training pattern and composition of a large number of my friends.
