Kuchumov Vasily Nikitich (1788-1959)
Historical painter , landscape painter , stage designer, master of the genre interior. He studied at the Higher Art School at the Academy of Fine Arts (1910-1916) , wrote a thesis , "Peter I examines the statue of Venus in the Summer Palace ." In 1911 he was awarded the second prize of the Academy of Fine Arts for the sketch " Salome brought the head of John the Baptist." He was influenced by artists of the "World of Art ." He took part in the annual exhibitions of the "Society of Independent " (1911-1914) , art and psychology of the " Triangle" ( 1908), Society. AI Kuindzhi ( 1926-1929 ). His works are in the SRM, the Dnepropetrovsk Art Museum and many regional museums .
