January 3, 1926 was born Vladimir Fedorovich Stozharau.

Stozharau famous for its scenic Russian heartland and Russian "village" still life. His understanding and insight into the spirit of Russian life are not comparable with any other author, the strength and depth.

Today, the same day, January 3, 2004 passed away a wonderful artist Ivan Sorokin.
They were with Stozharov friends, went to school together, were together in the evacuation, lived near Moscow. As best friend Sorokin baptized me and became a godfather.
A good man and a good artist.

Two years ago, Alexander has asked me to find and take a picture of his father , located in the collections of the National Gallery of Armenia. He really wanted to see this work ...
It was hoped that the picture may be among those who were soon brought to the exhibition at the Pushkin Museum. Pushkin , in September 2010 ( Russian painting of the Armenian museums ), but brought only works created before 1930 .
