At the last Salon of Fine Arts, one of the galleries has exposed several works by Vladimir Stozharov.

Born in 1926.
Graduated from Moscow State Institute of Art im.V.I.Surikova in 1951.
Participated in art exhibitions since 1951.
Full-blooded, life-affirming paintings of the artist embodied his view of Russia, a strong, solid and powerful, had expressed admiration for the harmony of the surrounding world, the beauty and originality of the ancient Russian architecture, folk art and everyday life.
Stozharau coloristic was endowed with a rare gift: dense, voluminous, pasty smear gave epic power and monumentality of his works. Intense color scheme distinguishes the majority of his paintings, they are material, decorative and poetic at the same time.
Pictures Stozharov VF are in the collections of the State Tretyakov Gallery, State Russian Museum, in 89 museums in the former Soviet Union, as well as in private collections in Russia and abroad: U.S., Germany, France, Italy, Finland, Japan, China, Holland, South Korea.
