As such photographs do not may determine.
Take a picture in daylight (without flash) and with normal sharpness.

Perhaps the author of this work is an American artist Ruth Byuol (Ruth Buol, 1897 -?). On her most know very little. Since the early 1950's it is engaged in design, jewelry and ceramics. Products of its work available in the network frequently. However, the site http://www.omahacityweekly.com/artic...rt-spoken-here said that she, at least in the 1940's he worked and easel painting. Signed it found only on ceramics - see Style it seems to me similar to those in your picture (especially the last two letters). It should nevertheless take into account that the raw clay to sign - not that sign now.

Thank you! The last two letters are similar, but the thing is older than the date of birth of the artist! While it may be kept in bad conditions? But the age?

so it is.
Age is probably the first half of the 20 th century.
Price of work is not great. Author can only look out of principle.

Most likely, you're right just before the clean up and restore the work, I want to know the opinion spetsialistov.Mne seems that the landscape of Russia, the Caucasus may be, the beginning of 20 century. But my dear Amateur suggested that this was an American, and his judgments, I doveryayu.V any event is always interesting to hear the opinion of other people! Dear usynin2! My opinion was based on very limited information (the similarity of the signatures and the lack of similarity with any I have found the signatures of other falling under suspicion of artists). It can, like any opinion, be wrong.
That's subjective I do not think that you're - the Caucasian landscape. Rather, it is north and if you only talk about Europe, there are associations with Norway, Sweden or Finland. Could well go up north and the United States and Canada. Something here might suggest the origin of the picture, but you do nothing about it said.
