Tonight Gallery of Modern Art NT-Art (Odessa) will be a presentation of the catalog of the national artist of Ukraine Albina Stanislavovich Gavdzinskogo.
The publication accompanies the exhibition that runs from December 2009 to February 2010 in the gallery NT-Art. The exhibition, which accounted for more than 80 paintings, covering the last 60 years of creative activity.
The catalog includes 72 color reproductions of artworks, many of whom have never before been exhibited or reproduced, as well as two unique graphics (1960), created by the artist in the reconstruction Opera House literally on its roof. Accompany the landscape of the article Eugene Goloubovsky, vice president of International Club of Odessa, Sergei Ilyin, senior researcher of the Odessa Museum of Western and Oriental Art, Helena Gavdzinskoy, a member of the Ukrainian Union of Artists, Linda Stoyanova, commercial director of the gallery NT-Art.
Artist Albin Gavdzinsky - a universal phenomenon. He is versatile in all genres: landscape, still life, portrait, multifigured thematic composition. But if you talk about what he most loves, which prefers, it certainly is - the landscape.
Proudly Albin S. feels continuing the traditions of southern Russian school, the Odessa Impressionism, which gave the world the names of K. Kostandi and P. Nilus, T. and G. Dvornikova Golovkova. His direct teacher not only in painting but also in life was a wonderful artist from Odessa, the husband of one of the daughters of AK Kostandi - Vladimir Sinitsky.
When he wrote the sky - we feel it is high, feel the warmth of the distant sun. When wrote the sea - salty breeze conveys to us the smell, we hear the noise of waves and the cries of gulls. And when he says the air - through him, we admire the refined beauty of the cityscape. Looking at the falling snow in his works, we enjoy the fresh crisp winter's day. This is the phenomenon of visible skill, sincerity and ability to master the unique property - a part of his soul passed to the "status", to immerse in the quiet summer night, or to compel involuntary squinting, staring at the blazing summer sun. And as far as pure and lofty in its noble soul of an artist, so bright and the sincerity of his works.
