What about Furtseva do not know, but Rostropovich - entertainer - this greatly!

Can for example remember Ilya Samoilovych Zilberstein. DO NOT KNOW HIS OR REFERRED TO IN THIS TOPIC. Here's a unique figure! Thanks to him and his own collections and appeared in the Moscow Museum of Private Collections in Volkhonka. No rugs traded. According to him first thing in the collection acquired in 16 years! And all my life collecting. More than twenty thousand historical documents on the history of Russian culture I. Zilberstein were returned from overseas and private collections in state funds and archives of the USSR.

In pre-revolutionary Russia art collection Kozma Terentyevich Soldatenkova considered the richest in Russia. Many paintings are lost, but hope to find any of them ...

The history of the mansion at the Butcher is closely connected with two collections of paintings. The first of them belonged Terentyevich Kozma, the second - his nephew and sole heir, Vasily Ivanovich, a surviving uncle at 9 let3. KT Soldatenkov began collecting pictures no later than 1853, when he had his first purchase - "Bathsheba" K. Bryullov. Therefore sodatenkovskoe collection can be considered the very first Moscow meeting of Russian painting.
Separate room for the pictures was not. All work (their number before the death of the owner was close to 270) were in the rooms of the mansion. Despite this, the meeting was available. Most visitors to the museum home - many friends and acquaintances owner of the house, friends of friends. It was the audience, connected with Moscow University, Rumyantsev Museum, the Academy of Arts and journalists. Among them were artists, teachers and students of the School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. Students came from other Soldatenkova notes - College professors Pavel Chistyakov.

Little-known collection of the new government got easier than booty. These trophies avoided direct a well-visited Moscow's main museum, they have done in his branch office. Soon Rumyantsev Museum was signed by the merciless verdict, and in 1925 members of the Tretyakov Gallery took to their considerable funds and the best part of his paintings. But most Soldatenkov Assembly - testamentary undivided heritage of the Rumyantsev Museum - began its path "in the world" from giant storerooms - Central repository GMF, located in the former manor Zubalovs. Pictures Sodatenkova Jr. at this time "the world" diverged long ago.
Unable to find documentary evidence of the fate of half of the first meeting in Moscow of Russian painting Soldatenkova.
