PS We have a Polenova view, Vasily Dmitrievich?? Maybe it's some other Polenov? that this is an outstanding, amazing, a real Russian man somehow managed to spread himself between Russia's lake with lily and the hot sands of the Asian desert. His Christ, his Gospel scene, its high priests - how could he reconcile in his mind this colorful majesty of silence Russian lake with carp?
