Paul Pepperstein was born in the artist V. Pivovarova in 1966.
In 1987 he graduated from the Prague Academy of Arts and founded the group "Medical Hermeneutics".
Overall artist's work formed under the influence of Conceptual Ilya Kabakov and Victor Pivovarov.

In the futuristic project "City of Russia" an artist and writer Paul Pepperstein addresses topical theme of cultural heritage of Russia.

The artist depicts the futuristic architecture built up a fantastic city, which also resurrects the memory scale of utopia on total reorganization of Russian avant-garde space, inspired by new social theories of architectural projects 20 years of XX century, and an optimistic belief in the future of the 60's.

First impression - funny farm, in the best sense of the word. Most exhibits task surprise, rather than admire. Sometimes it succeeds, sometimes not. But go and dive - intresno. Visitors as I noted in another Reporting - youth 20-35 years old, and the ticket costs 300 rubles. But worth it, spend time with pleasure.
