01.11.2009 09:31: at Sotheby's auction today will be exhibited unique miniature portrait of Peter the First, decorated with diamonds.
Experts believe this miniature very rare thing. Such portraits were made just 10. They belonged to either Peter himself, or to persons of his entourage. The portrait, which is up for auction, is owned by an American family from Arizona to the 1951-year. Then it was bought in London at the antiquary. Family have never thought about the exceptional value of the portrait.
