If you specifically about the Jeff Koons-time, collectors, museum workers, art dealers, art lovers just him .. he is already rated in the top five most expensive, well-known artists from living on earth .. you show an example of what you personally think the talented work ..

what I thought was real and eternal art, you've seen in my chaotic diary. Is it repeated?

What do I do if I do not like, and most importantly, do not appreciate the concept "art" and Amer. culture? How much would it cost. I'm not interested in inflated promotional balloons - this is my own taste.

We do not make sense "to cross the spear" - we are not competitors in the painting. I am ready to accept the existence of your point of view, as the existence of Conceptualism and Pop Art. Let there - none of this is not bad. But why would not you assume the right to exist that dear to me (though I'm not all I can out of this purchase): Vermeer and Rembrandt, Matyushina and Labas, Petrov-Vodkin and Deineko .... Ionova and Khachatryan, Dolosova and Sutyagina ...

IMHO - Koons is not empty, at least. And kartinochka on the wall is very pretty, almost like torsherchik.
I see a certain fullness of all these bunnies and hearts (in contrast to the earlier glass sculptures with Chicholinnoy, empty and filthy for my taste).

A former broker on Wall Street burst into the world of art in the sleek 80-s and immediately declared himself successor of the case of Andy Warhol and Salvador Dali. "Salvation - in the banality" - he declared once in the pages of snobbish intellectual magazine Art Forum. And now 20 years Koons strictly follows its motto.

Straight and honest (quality of a great toy !). Maybe this is the secret, do not break my head, meaning to seek, - all bright, banal, ie have something to cling to the consciousness of viewers know little about art? Now that there are no uncomfortable feeling that he was in someone else's company.

So it's toys and home furnishings or all of the same art?
So this "great artists" or lucky designers?

I can not understand - is being praised or reviled.

PS
I looked yesterday, the theme of the artist Stozharov - all praise. And I liked it. There is no dispute and exchange of completely opposite views. Perhaps this is the real art! And not fickle fashion.

Artists, successful designers and brilliant art-managers.

It does not happen.

There are lucky for living artists (such as Rubens) and the less fortunate artists (Van Gogh).

Toys for the new Russian and great art can not cross.
Look at any construction glossy magazine - own estimate presented interiors.
It would be nice not to confuse the terms "great product" and "great art". And then I always get confused - then I have to admire, or scold.

Explanation:

Under the new Russian, I understand people who enriched themselves by using bureaucratic factor or communication (or Soviet Russia already). However, these people may not have a very good education and a bad thin. taste. Businessmen they can not be named. Some of them have already gone bankrupt or were shot in the dashing 90-e. But many continue their way.

On the contrary, this businessman has earned his money himself, started from scratch and created his own commercial or industrial empire. These are talented people, often have a good education. Taste - not always.
