Firstly the size of the French are the natural proportions. Inch system osnavana on human proportions and thus are better perceived by the eye. These dimensions sufficient for all tracks. I have checked this on their own experience. For many years I work on these dimensions, the truth stretchers have to do everything myself, but the exposition is always looks good.
Another plus is that with them stardantizovany size frames and in France you can always buy a frame to any size, can be rented and it is very convenient.
Metric sizes inconvenient, but not pretty ....

Painting duplicated, with a new subframe.
The original size of 36.5 (/- 0,5) cm x 30,5 (/- 0,5) cm
