You, dear Master, especially do not worry. According to statistics, in 1910's - just at a time when your beloved Pavel, together with the same dishonest Apollinaire was involved in the theft of the Mona Lisa - Louvre carried out on the subject of the day, and I think that these items were pohlesche than depressed Hermitage yuvelirki late 19 th century, because of which broke a fuss!
.
Incidentally, these two kept subchikov then not only La Gioconda, but other exhibits, according to rumors, the Egyptian Votive figurine and cowardly Picasso rid of them, the most inappropriately creative manner, throwing out of the Seine with a bridge.

That's it

Whoah! They're still on the cultural and educational program earn money! It's the opposite should be the cost part. Vaughn, in the UK national museums are free, people are spending money to educate the nation and the French in this Conversely earn.

Liana, sorry for the jibe against the French, but I always thought of them petty and mercantile nation, ever close encounter.

))))))))))

You are right, the French are quite Mercantile audience - but not all, not all.

Now I'll explain everything:
  1. On the cultural and educational work earn not only the French. Do not forget that the museum organizes conferences, lectures, etc. People listen to them, ennobled, penetrate and dominate the art of mind - well, that for a moderate fee is charged. Even in a socialist paradise, where I lived until this grandeur I have not tired of it and I have not faded, for lectures in factories, which suited the society "Knowledge" (in chastnostm, the cycle of "Museums of the World," which I read with one set slides, as already notified respected forumistov), shared in the same company paid a bribe, some of which fall to us, novice art historians, which allows us to stretch his legs. To summarize: educate /cared pays illuminating /bringing up, this is an economic necessity, dear admin, and therefore, your sarcasm meaningless
  2. Next: in England for free visit the permanent museum exhibits, temporary exhibitions also are exclusively for paying - and not particularly cheap - tickets.
  3. But the metro in Paris is cheaper, works better, and no bugs in it, only the lice that bite is not painful

There is. Clear?

The genius of the topic. The ability to estimate age of one frame. Its strength and its flaw. Apotheosis of the era of consumption. The challenge of a great artist (no matter zhivoppistsa or photo) - is to find a thin string, instead of in the work of the whole world. In order to greatly simplify the picture, imagine the members of the Politburo or better range of mid-level delegation from their wretched ascetic, with official bungalow by today's standards, who fell back in time to some Megu-Belaya Dacha. Half of ambulance taken away.

for me is an expression of age is highly controversial, it is more than one form of modern art to submit a photo everyday, think of her vision and how it can be more expensive to sell.
You can take pictures and consequences of an attack on Tskhinvali - the era is not one frame: double standards, excessive cruelty, pressledovanie personal interests ignoring other people's lives and opinions of the population, the loss of any moral principles, the terrible consequences of actions of just one person, etc. Such examples can think of plenty ...

Sorry, but the conceptual power of art in these works, I do not see.

If it is comparable in strength to Guernica, it's very likely. But art in general does not like short-term political and historical subjects (perhaps Besides from the Bible). I do not like 99 cent? Maybe it wrong MOMA hanged. http://www.moma.org/exhibitions/2001...9cent_pop.html
