Born in Paris in 1922, Kouliche is one of the painters most representative of the expressionist group that was searching by new techniques to give contemporary art more vigor and realty. After the war, Michel Kouliche showed regularly at the most exclusive Parisian galleries. Since 1952, he has been a member of Le Société des Artistes Indépendant; shows at: the Salon des Indépendants, Paris; at the Cimaise de Paris; in the Gallery of Contemporary Art, Paris; the Museum of Modern Art, Paris; and in exhibitions and galleries in Montreal, Toronto, New York, Miami Beach and now in New Hope, PA. He is listed in Who's Who in the World, Who's Who in Art and Antiques; he has won numerous awards and has works in museums and private collections around the world.
