Known Nikolaev artist will exhibit his paintings in the Gallery of Modern Art düsseldorf

8 April 2015 at the Gallery of Modern Art düsseldorf exhibition known Nikolaev artist Vlad Guryeva "East Wind".

The exhibition is organized with the support of the Union of artists of Ukraine and the rotary Club Nikolaev, and is the latest in an ambitious round-the-world project "Sails of Meditation", launched in 2013.

Among the visitors are expected Jordan's Ambassador to Germany Mr. Mazen Izzedin Abdullah Tal, Consul of Jordan in Dusseldorf Mr. Klaus Gielis, as well as the Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany Andrew J. Miller.

Since 1993, since the first foreign exhibitions in Germany, Vlad Guriev consistently promotes native Ukraine. Today he is one of the few representatives of the Ukrainian art scene, who relies solely on painting.

The exotic charm of the East.

Paintings Vlad recognizable: they are often depicted famous person in the background is fantastic outer space. In Ukraine and Germany it is known as the only Eastern European "court" artist - orientalist who have personal permission to portraits of the Jordanian Royal family. And, for the first time in Jordan Vlad invited member of the Parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia, düsseldorf back in 1997. And then, after several exhibitions in Amman, the artist began to work with the orders of the Royal court of Jordan. His works to date, the artist continues to build the connection, mutual influence and enrichment of three different cultures: Western European, Eastern European and middle Eastern.

The exhibition will present new works by the artist, and past works as well as works from private collections. But the Central place in the exhibition is a new portrait of outstanding modern woman of the East, Her Majesty the Queen Finally written by the artist at the end of 2014.
