Ukrainian painter. Honored artist of Ukraine.
Konstantin V. Filatov was born 20 October 1926 in Kiev.
In 1955 he graduated from the Odessa art College name Mbigou, where his teachers were: Chodorow, LACNIC, Margonski, Wexler.
1957 - the participant of Republican, all-Union and international art exhibitions.
Filatov C.V. member of the Union of artists of the USSR since 1960.
Worked in the field of easel painting. The author of numerous genre paintings, landscapes, portraits and still lifes.
For many years he taught at the Studio of military artists to them. Mbigou.
From 1970 to 1974, he was a teacher at Odessa art school.
In 1972 he became the Laureate of the State prize of the USSR for them. T. Shevchenko for the painting "Red square" and "V. I. Lenin".
In 1974 he was awarded the title "Honored artist of the Ukrainian SSR".
Works C.V. Filatov is represented in Museum and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
