Lang, Oleg Vladimirovich (born 1950), painter of modern Moscow school, part of an elite circle of masters of modern art. Born in the town of Novomoskovsk, Tula region. In 1981 he graduated from the Faculty of Painting MGHI them. VI Surikov. Since 1982 - Member of the Moscow branch of the Union of Artists. Alain, thank you! You are a very interesting link to the Gelos given. Not a bad selection of lots - a rarity for Gelos (except Zvereva and Thieme-Block). Lot 269 (Victor Kazarin "Ferapontov Monastery") in my home. I bought it directly from the master after this auction, because it is not for sale. And he bought at a price four times lower than the auction! Already half a year has passed from this auction - Lang, the price went up decently. So, too, would be Nov. Gedenidze would have bought it already went to grow and began appearing on other auctions.

On November 13, he died Oleg Lang. Yesterday, we buried him in the Transfiguration Cemetery on November 21 and spend the day in memory of a remarkable artist in 17 CHA hall on the 9th day after the death of his three-day opening an unplanned solo exhibition . His works are in the 18 leading Russian museums . It held more than 20 solo exhibitions . Now it goes to the exhibition at the Museum of St. Petersburg Erarta . Came two powerful album artist. They will be presented at the exhibition. All who knew Oleg invited to honor the memory of our friend and a great master .
