The new art director CVM "Manezh" appointed deputy general director for exposition activities in the Tretyakov Gallery Andrei Vorobyov. This was reported in the Department of Culture of Moscow.

According to the order of appointment, Vorobyov will take over as artistic director of the Moscow Military District "Arena" for a period of one year.

Post art director of "arena" has become vacant on July 1 this year, after the Marina Lochak, a position he was appointed director of the Pushkin Museum of Fine. The former head of the Pushkin Museum, Irina Antonova, who led the Pushkin Museum 52 years old, left his post, staying in a museum in his office of the president.

Vorobyov was born on 27 March 1975. in Moscow. In 1997. graduated from the Moscow State University of Culture, the Department of museums and monuments of the specialty "historian and curator." In 2002. a post-graduate of the State Institute of Art Studies of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation (Russian department of fine arts and architecture of XVIII-XX centuries).

Since 1997. was a research fellow Department of Russian and foreign ceramics and glass at the State Museum of Ceramics and "Kuskovo XVIII century.". In 2001. moved to the Pushkin Fine Arts Museum. In 2006 to 2007. was deputy director general of the State Central Theater Museum im.A.A.Bahrushina.

The post of Deputy Director General of the State Tretyakov Gallery on exposition activities came in 2010.
