George V. Deliev (Zhoryk Deliev) (born January 1, 1960, Kherson, USSR) - Ukrainian film director, actor, musician, artist, artistic director of the comic troupe "Masks".
George Deliev born January 1, 1960 in Kherson, in a family of teachers boarding for "juveniles" in Kherson region Korsunke Victor G. Deliev and Galina Trofimovna Deliev, at home they call George Jura, a younger brother Leo Deliev, Father Victor Deliev ham [2] Grandson Archbishop George Dnepropetrovsk (Deliev). In 1977 he entered the Odessa Civil Engineering Institute at the Faculty of Architecture, graduating in 1982. Over the years, students are actively engaged in mime and clowning in the studio.

In 1984 he worked at the Leningrad Theatre "Actors" led by Vyacheslav Polunin. Also in 1984 he was accepted into the ensemble of mime and clowning "Masks" at the Odessa Philharmonic, where he works now artistic director, producer, actor, writer.
From 1986 to 1989 he studied at the State Institute of Theatre Arts at the Faculty of directing stage.
In 1991 he made the feature film "Seven Days to the Russian beauty" (director, writer and lead actor).
Beginning in 1992, he was the director, script writer and performer of the main roles in television movies comedy series "Masks show."
He acted in some movies Muratova (for his role in the movie "The Adjuster," won the festival "Stozhary - 2005" for best actor), played the role of Ostap Bender in Ulrike Ottinger film "Twelve Chairs" (Germany).
Winner of the All-Union competition of performers, the winner and winner of many international competitions theater, circus arts, television festivals and competitions. Honored Artist of Ukraine. Member of the Union of theatrical figures, member of the Union of Cinematographers of Ukraine.
In 2002 he was elected to the Odessa City Council, in the Commission for Culture, Education, Youth and Sports.
