The inscription has been removed because it is not original and it was found that it was made 50-100 years later than the time when the picture was painted.

This is one thing - restorer should not have to remove the inscription age 5 centuries, even if it is made of 50 years later the main painting.

This follows (and very early) existence of this painting icons.

Well, yes ... what to say now.
