How to invest USD 3000-10000

A few pages ago I wrote about the possibility to invest
3 000-10 000 in contemporaries. Overall response opinion - too risky.
And yet it was felt that this money can buy
some 4B.
But I wrote about the artists, invaluable and underappreciated
  investors, with ratings of 2A and 3A.
These artists are forced to sell paintings
at prices far below even a sort of "fair market"
(heh-heh, eh-eh-eh)
and therein lies their short-term investment resource
(In the sense that long run at a loss is still impossible).
But long-term vision for 2A and 3A at all obvious.
Although I do not rule out that the original "score" (in the sense
"Rating") Art - Collectors case, rather than investors.
The interest of collectors to this category of artists just
quite high.
