A unique collection of drawings by Nikolai Ge returned to Russia

Tretyakov Gallery to its 155-year anniversary, celebrated in May, received a gift collection of unique paintings of Nicholas Gay, told RIA Novosti the museum's director, Irina Lebedeva.

According to Lebedev, 55 drawings Gay presented a gift to VTB, bought it from a private collection in Switzerland, where they were in the early twentieth century brought a son of the artist.
