Swiss exhibition with the participation of Larry Clark censored

Exhibition "vice and pleasure", organized by the Museum of Fine Arts in the Swiss capital Bern, censored, according to Le Matin.
Exposure were excluded from the two photographs of the American filmmaker Larry Clark, and watercolor by German artist Georg Gross. Decided to withdraw the three works was taken over by the museum in just two days before the opening of the exposition. (The exhibition "Eastern Promises, and fun will be available to the public from October 15, 2010 to February 20, 2011.)

In management's opinion, the three papers mentioned above are too provocative. In particular, a photograph by Larry Clark depicts a young man with a gun forcing the girl to oral sex. With this guide the museum recognizes that the works have a certain artistic value.

We note that Clark received wide acclaim in 1995 after the release of his film "Kids" (Kids). The painting was dedicated by New York teenagers - in the film they had taken alcohol and drugs, and sexual promiscuity.

From 8 October in Paris held an exhibition of photographs Clarke, dedicated to the life of teenagers. Leadership of the Museum of Modern Art, which exhibited works, has decided not to allow the exhibition of persons under 18 years, even though teenagers are the heroes of the images. We already know that the exhibition "Eastern Promises and pleasure in Bern will not be allowed visitors who have not attained the age of 16.
