aims and objectives of the exhibition project:
1. Reconstruction. The project involves the reconstruction of the fragmentary exhibitions of 1975. This means that a number of historical works will be shown in precisely those places where they are hung at an exhibition in 1975. This reconstruction will expository "skeleton" inside and outside which will show works by young artists.
2. Ephemerality. Exhibition in 1975 became legendary, and because the participants of the jubilee exhibition is invited to reflect on the theme of aesthetic and artistic "legends". Jubilee exhibition demonstrates is not art, but rather what remains of them, literally traces of their presence, evidence of their potential resonance.
3. Dedication. The anniversary exhibition will update the post-Soviet problems of consciousness and the present Soviet "subconscious", given that many modern artists invariably appeal to the Soviet aesthetics.
4. Outside the institution. Exhibition in 1975 showed unacceptable and acceptable boundaries of artistic freedom. The present boundaries of the freedom given to those institutions that govern contemporary art, many artists are quite comfortable in there. This is sort of new "civilized" level of conformity.
The exhibition will bring together three generations of artists that will clarify the dynamics of the artistic process over the past 35 years.
