He was born in a place called Lichk (Zap.Armeniya). In 1907 he moved to Paris, entered the Academy Dzhuliana.1931-1947 gg.Byl chairman of the Association of Free Artists of Armenia "in Parizhe.V 1947 returned Armenia.

He was born in Kars, in 1941, has finished the Leningrad Academy Hudozhestv.S 1953 Member of the Academy of Fine Arts SSSR.V 1963 O. Zardaryanu was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Armenian SSR.

Armenian Art Gallery - the pride of our city. It contains over 19,000 works of Armenian, Russian and Western European art. Being the richest cultural fund, (and our gallery in the Land of the Soviets considered the best after the museums of Moscow and Leningrad), it had grown organically in the body tissue of the city and to imagine today, Yerevan, without the white-stone building the gallery is rather difficult.
