This is a book by Natalia Sinelnikova "Nonconformists", published by "Virtual Gallery" in 2009 (though widely available, it appeared only at the beginning of 2010).

Yes, it contains little tales - in particular, the remarkable story of how Vasily Sitnikov Weisberg himself wrote to his disciples, and then met with him in the bath. But such "goodies" quite a bit, but would love to make it more, because the issue is really done very well: and printed perfectly, and the layout is very good and interesting selection of illustrations (well, a little nit-picking: for example, can would give a more "typical" Nemukhin 70-ies, rather than its late period, but that's my personal opinion).

Now on the negatives. First and foremost, I have already announced: I would like more goodies and details, not just common words. The second negative is that somewhere "lost" some big names, and in particular Weisberg Komar Melamid, Kabakov, Rukhin (even if it from St-Petersburg artists could be called!). That is, they are mentioned in stories about other artists, but a separate essay to them for some reason decided not to allocate. Why is Bulatov and Oleg Vassiliev, his friend, teammate and also a very talented painter, decided to leave to one side? Why unfair sharing of attention and Vulokh Roginsky? Or all of them and those whom I have not mentioned, decided to leave for the book "Nonconformists are returned? Hopefully. I have this book also bought.

Let's try to summarize. For those interested in the topic and wish to understand the non-conformists - an excellent purchase. Gentleman's set of knowledge is guaranteed (but worth at least read on the Internet and with the artists that were not included in the book). The rest is to be Hamlet's choice: buy or not buy.
