"Mark Rothko: the unknown world", an exhibition in the "Garage"

I myself saw Rothko, but his work did not approve of - so I could write 20-30-40 years ago. And now they have faded bright stars, shining to us from abroad. Prekartsnoe Delek was simple, commercial and not interesting. And sometimes even unpleasant smell.

Today, alas, such is not to say. But, to paraphrase the well-known proposal, I would venture to enter into a polemic with the lovers of the great upholsterer. I myself Rothko first time I saw a year ago at the American exhibition in the Tretyakov Gallery on the Crimean shaft, but work did not approve. Here and now.

Rothko saw it originally divided into two polar camps:
1) Some people in ecstasy
2) Others say - wallpaper.

I belong to the latter. It is noticed that delighted with Rothko's mostly women. Together with me on the show had a friend with a girlfriend. Friend liked what we were in a deep cultural shock.
