We can not accept - perhaps, indeed, the most interesting and strong work Pimenov. However, it is so different from most known of his things, take at least a series of "New Moscow" or ultraboundary portrait of Pasternak, recently exhibited at Sovkome.
By the way, at the Salon a collection of his graphic 50-ies exhibited on the mezzanine floor - some things were simply stunning.
