VF Stozharau. Here the Russian spirit, here smells

At the last Salon of Fine Arts, one of the galleries has exposed several works by Vladimir Stozharov.

Born in 1926.
Graduated from Moscow State Institute of Art im.V.I.Surikova in 1951.
Participated in art exhibitions since 1951.
Full-blooded, life-affirming paintings of the artist embodied his view of Russia, a strong, solid and powerful, had expressed admiration for the harmony of the surrounding world, the beauty and originality of the ancient Russian architecture, folk art and everyday life.
Stozharau coloristic was endowed with a rare gift: dense, voluminous, pasty smear gave epic power and monumentality of his works. Intense color scheme distinguishes the majority of his paintings, they are material, decorative and poetic at the same time.
Pictures Stozharov VF are in the collections of the State Tretyakov Gallery, State Russian Museum, in 89 museums in the former Soviet Union, as well as in private collections in Russia and abroad: U.S., Germany, France, Italy, Finland, Japan, China, Holland, South Korea.

1964 creative journey in the Komi rivers Mezen, Vaško, Pysse with artists, EI Zverkov, IA Popov
1965 awarded the title of Honored Artist of the RSFSR. Creative journey in the Komi River Vaško with artists EI Zverkov and YI Semeniuk.
1966 participation in the XXXIII International exhibition "Venice Biennale" creative journey in the Komi Republic with artists EI Zverkov and YI Semeniuk.

1971 trip to Britain.
1971 1972 trip to Romania with a group exhibition of paintings of the RSFSR "Russian North".
1972 creative journey in the Kostroma region.
1972 - 1974 traveling solo exhibition of paintings in the cities of Syktyvkar, Arkhangelsk, Kirov, Izhevsk, Gorki, Kuibyshev, Ulyanovsk, Astrakhan, Kostroma, Ryazan, Bryansk, Kalinin, Tula, Kaluga, Smolensk.
1973 was elected a corresponding member of USSR Academy of Arts. Died Nov. 22 in Moscow.
