No fresh colors and subtle, exquisite combination, rather than primitive stoplight.

No, I really do not like Maurice Denis. "Primitive stoplight" (which sometimes I really even like it - see some representatives of German expressionism) look at Nabidov useless. Of course, everything is relative: Denis - a good artist. But compared with such brilliant figures like Bonnard, Vuillard and Denis seems amorphous, devoid of energy and very pretentious - a sort of mixture of Puvis de Chavannes with wallpaper Liberty

As for the price of Denis, which I just do not know. If the art world has some kind of justice, then surely much cheaper expressed above two of my favorites
