Leo Tabenkin, incidentally, the participant's first and only - but because of the historical! auction of contemporary art at Sotheby's in 1988 in Moscow. There, three of his works were sold for amounts ranging from 10 to 14 thousand dollars. And one of the most expensive sales Tabenkin recorded at a public auction - "Jazz Orchestra", written in 2004. was sold at auction Phillips de Pury & Company in 2008. for a sum rather impressive - 235 thousand dollars.
