What distinguishes the true artist from not present?

AlexanderG, now sat looking through pictures and less well-known artists on the internet and I lit up this idea. Probably all a matter of intention.

This artist creating a painting - trying to create a masterpiece (though he does not speak of it as a masterpiece) and at the end he wants to show - to show more people to hear their opinion, but the secondary has already been sold to whom, when and for how much can option and donate. Not a true artist in this case has not yet begun to paint already thought to represent a sell, but after trying to sell faster and more expensive.
