Help assess the Persian bowl (300-500 years)

Hello!
Help please identify the age and possible value of the Persian bowls. The history of the subject is as follows: Great-great-great-grandmother of my wife married a naval officer, who once gave her his friend, a Persian sheikh. There is information that is relatively old, but accurate data are not available, ranging from 300 to 500 years (referring to her age). Made it out of brass, outside letters of Damascus steel and there are small inclusions of copper in the form of leaves. Dimensions 12,8 x4, 4 cm, weight about 300-400 grams. There is the assumption that it is ritual.
We want to sell and need to determine the value.
