     Appeared in Petrograd in 1920. The first exhibition of the Society of Artists individualists opened in 1921 on Stone Island. [1] In the same year, in the halls of the Society for Encouragement of Arts (Marine, 38) was 2nd exhibition. Among the exhibitors were the first exhibitions of artists Bolotov PP, Brodsky I., Welz IA Volkov, P., Geller, P., Ivanov, P., Clover YY, Makovsky A . V. Makovsky KE, PS Naumov, Neimark L., Petrov-Vodkin, KS, Priselkov SV, Shishmaref SY, JF Schultze and others.

     Later expanded range of exhibitors, exhibits accompanied the publication of directories. Thus, in the VI-th exhibition in 1926 was attended by 51 artists, exhibited 446 works. [3] In the VII-th exhibition, opened in March 1928 in the rooms of the Society for Encouragement of Arts, was attended by 61 artists. Exhibited over 480 paintings, drawings and sculptures.
