Boris Aleksandrovich Golopolósov
was born in Arkhangelsk son of an engineer. He studied at the Moscow School of Painting at SV Malyutina, V. Yakovlev, in 2-GSHM Higher Art (1919-1925) in the AV Shevchenko. In 1923, as a student, designed and painted the pavilion "Vintorg" at the 1st All-Union Agricultural Exhibition. In 1923, together with a group of students and AV Shevchenko first took part in the exhibition "The first exhibition of easel painters 'future society" Painters' Workshop "from 1926. He was a member of the board of the association. Member of the AChRs from 1931 to 1932. In 1937, he was expelled for "formalism" of MOSSH, which was adopted in 1933. Traveled half the country proceeded on foot, hunted, not once swam shvartbote sailor on the Caspian Sea. After exclusions, 43 years later, in 1977, he participated in the exhibition "Artists of the 1st Five Year Plan": One-day exhibition, organized by the OO Roytenberg in Moscow. In 1978 he again joined the Union of Artists. Lived in Moscow. His works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, AOMII, GMI them. Savitsky and private collections.
