Kops, Johannes Franciscus ('Frans')

He was born in the Dutch city of s-Hertogenbosch August 8, 1873 , died there on October 19, 1951 . He studied in de Koninklijke School in s-Hertogenbosch, trained in lv J. Dony en P.M. Slager sr, later worked in the city of Brugge in Belgium restorer of old Flemish masters in the Museum (Museum aldaar). He painted portraits, historical scenes , as he is known paintings on the walls of the churches in the province of Noord-Brabant. Many worked with artist Jan Bogaerts. Later, he gave lessons now known artists HAJM de Laat and R.M. Pijnenburg.
