November 16. INTERFAX.RU - Minister of Culture of France Frederic Mitterrand, inspired by the idea of creating a Russian-French Film Academy. At the meeting of a joint Franco-Russian Organizational Committee of the Year of Russia in France and the Year of France in Russia Mitterrand said that the goal of the Academy - "to facilitate joint French-Russian production, promotion of Russian cinema in France and in Europe, and French - in Russia."
